Introduction

In our project of creating a travel poster for the Walk for Life in San Francisco, we wanted a simplistic design that still captures iconic parts of San Francisco.  We thought that we would get this result by using an image of the skyline and the Golden Gate Bridge.

Inspiration

We looked for images mostly involving the Golden Gate Bridge and originally planned to make that the focus of the poster but saw images like the farthest right image with a focus on the skyline and the bridge in the background and decided to go for that same type of image.

Sketches

We had ideas for the image of San Francisco and decided to have foot prints going across the image to convey the Walk for Life.

Rough draft

We found an image of a silhouette of the San Francisco skyline and modified it a bit to add into our project and made the bridge in the background a solid red to make it stand out.  When we added the footprints, we were originally going to make them the colors of the background sunset but later changed them to be the same color as the bridge.

Final Draft
