The below images were captured off Stradbroke Island, Queensland early 2018.It was a beautiful day on (and off) the boat at Manta Bomie and Shag Rock. This was all shot on a Nikonos V loaded with Kodak T-Max 400 seeing through a 15mm Nikkor lens.
We went whale hunting armed with snorkels and cameras at Mooloolaba. We saw lots of whales but unfortunately by the time we jumped off the boat they decided they wanted nothing to do with the puny humans. Still, we had a whale of a time (not sorry for the pun).
Nikonos V, 35mm lens and Kodak Tmax 400.
Southport Seaway, Gold Coast. This was the first outing with an extension tube my Nikonos and I'm thrilled with the results. The Seaway is loaded with all kinds of crazy little critters and I think the macro rig coupled with a nice strobe is a great way to do these little monsters justice.
Nerd data... Nikonos V, 35mm lens with Sea&Sea 1:3 extension tube, Nikonos SB105 strobe and Kodak Tmax 400.
This is an assortment of aquatic snaps from the Tweed River from various trips.
