As human beings we all want to feel connected. We listen to and read stories practically every day. What I wanted to explore was another method of storytelling. I’ve always found myself fascinated when listening to the news. There’s quite a disparity between reading and hearing the news.

This project conveyed these stories and explorations on a visual level using a series of posters. I chose stories archived on NPR (National Public Radio) because they seem to air a variety of stories that are both heartwarming and bittersweet.

The series of 29 posters size range from 4" x 4" to 18" x 12" and 6' x 4.5' (when pieced together). A 10" x 7" book accompanies the poster series. The posters were created using found and original images.
