The Common Thread is a program that provides new intergenerational connections between elders and the younger community. There is a great amount of seniors that are “forgotten” and isolated from society. The Common Thread aims to show the younger community how much older people have to offer. Seniors are looking not to be alone, and it is often forgotten how much society as a whole can benefit from the knowledge and experience of them.
