Mission:

College Cooks provides information for college cooking to students who do not know
anything beyond making Ramen. The company hopes to guide college students to be decent cooks in most painless and easiest way possible.

The design elements had to keep college students aesthetics in mind. Two logo treatments were inspired by vintage designs, but simplified down, and school crests. Each element that went into College Cooks had a rustication treatment was to relate to a down to earth and homemade feel.

The idea for the poster was it needed to fit inside the box on top of everything and double as a poster while still being useful. The end result was a mason jar recipe. The recipe card utilizes the brand identity with the rustication treatment on solid color and the logos. The icons are treated similar to the mason jar icon which holds the measuring equivalents in the beginning. The recipes are divided with a solid color texture and blurb about the meal. Then it has 3 dishes for each meal that are rated from hard to easy.
