If anyone told me in my early twenties fresh out of art school that my design career would launch, and quickly land, in a world of hand-painted glassware -- well, I would have raised a pierced eyebrow.
When I began work as the first employee at Designs by Lolita, a painted glassware company started by a painter working out of her suburban garage in 2005, I was given the below catalogue with a number of martini glasses and asked to brand the company.
Within the first year, I was orchestrating photo shoots, directing artists, designers, and interns, developing packaging, and creating compelling line plans and branded content. Today in a Creative Director role, that same business has become an internationally distributed, multi-million dollar brand of which I am proud to say I grew.
It's overwhelming to think that the experience I accrued began with simple design know-how and a desire to work hard. My work with DBL truly taught me everything I know about dedicated creative direction, stellar team management, brand evolution, creating consistently sought after, top-selling product, and running a successful company.

A large part of my job, and a true highlight of my design career at Designs by Lolita, entailed working with some of the heaviest hitters in the gift industry, interfacing with executives to create custom designs within their individual brand and style parameters.
Those brands are listed below.
I appreciate you taking the time to take a look at my project.
