Every retail store, no matter what merchandise is being sold, deserves some creative visuals. This past year, I worked at a food specialty shop in the Historic District of Savannah. The Peanut Shop of Savannah, located on River Street was one of the most interesting retail jobs I have ever had. The management really appreciated my willingness to merchandise the store, so every month I would alternate the windows, front and back display to highlight sales and specials and draw in the hundreds of tourists visiting the area.
This display focuses on the treats and products associated with the wonderful holiday season. I incorporated buildup techniques to create an overal symmetrical balance.
