Integrated Print and Online Newsletter

Client: Herts County Council
Created on behalf of: Indigo Total Communications Ltd
Date: September 2011

Indigo were commissioned to design a series of integrated printed and online materials to update members and suppliers, as well as local authorities and schools, with the latest tools and products to help them increase service take-up.

As senior designer working on the Connect Digitally Programme I helped develop a series of stylish and informative products that were delivered as print and online campaigns to Connect Digitally employees and suppliers, as well as local schools, councils and authorities throughout the UK.

These included printed newsletters, e-shots and interactive PDFs available on the government ‘Communities of Practice’ website. These helped Connect Digitally to increase the availability of its key services online and the take-up of these services by parents and carers, leading to quantifiable benefits and ultimately resulting in the Programme winning numerous accolades and awards. Amanda Derrick, the Programme Director, was eventually acknowledged for her innovative work when she was given an OBE by the Queen in 2012.
