FEAST IN TRAY – EDIBLE TRAYS
Feast in a Tray is a modern and unique spin on the conventional ‘dabba’ or tiffin system of Mumbai, India. It delivers a fresh and healthy assorted meal, a feast, wrapped in a disposable tray that fits perfectly into parties, office lunches, festivities… just about everything that needs a full stomach.
The core communication thought for the brand was ‘a feast leads to happy endings.’ The client wished to extend this thought to its festive trays for Diwali and Christmas by including a surprise for the customers.
Since most Indian festivals inadvertently end up causing a lot of wastage and filth, we attempted to deliver the ‘happy ending’ to both customers and the environment. We came up with the concept of edible trays that found their way to the stomach instead of dustbins, made an interesting end to the meal and the tray a part of the feast!
These festive trays were well received and binged on by the customers.
