When I worked at Mellonaid I worked on this project. Skyward Solar Power brings solar energy and other green building solutions to homes and businesses across North Carolina. The logo symbolizes many things, but mainly that the source of energy, light from the sun coming down reflecting upward toward financial grow and a positive future. The logo mark also forms wings which reinforce the name "Skyward" as a company who rises above current environmental challenges. 

To help Skyward Solar Power's office stand out, visible to passing vehicles, we developed strong and simple signs with accent window vinyl. The logo inside the black metal sign would be backlit during night hours.

In an effort to to represent Skyward Solar Power as a clean energy company, a clean stylistic graphic was created for the van and trailer to reinforce the logo, also creating an image of the grid within a solar panel. As a new company it need to stand out and have the logo and information displayed clearly.
