So it begins —
In faith and fear
With no one but him.
He’s only hoping
That it won’t be grim.
Up, up and up
Don’t you dare look down now.
Reminding himself
In order to grasp the dream
That is now his vow.
On a carousel spinning
Around and around
Taking in what it has to offer.
The journey continues
In uncharted waters.
When his world is alight
With blazing passion.
He then met a stallion
In perfect fashion.
And so,
They soar.
Oh, how they soar.
Overcoming pits and thorns
It almost seems like the horse can roar.
In all the glory
Then comes the gripping cold.
It’s a wonderland no more
And it’s getting out of control.
Thanks for the ride
But you shall not be his undoing.
For he has grown
To find something else worth pursuing.
