A galaxy of cubes is a collaboration between Hong Kong based illustrator Finu (Philippine Vidart) and visual artist Yunus Diker. The piece explores 12 of the infinite number of dimensions that exist in a parallel universe, as we follow a curious space traveler in his spaceship. Using computer generated animations these intergalactic worlds are brought to life as they are uncovered on their respective cubed dimension. A galaxy of cubes is a mix of visual performance and sculptural composition, inspired by the aesthetics of 60s neofuturistic group Archigram. The piece was created for the ‘Kinetic Museum - Movement’ exhibition which took place at the J-01 Gallery in Hong Kong from August to September 2017.
