When I was 15, I started high school. The school was...50 minutes away from home if I took the subway, and 30 minutes if my parents drove me (not during rush hours)... In Beijing, the time spent on the road varies a lot, and it depends on the time you departure and the place you choose to go, which you will understand once you watch the film.
Traveling in the city, observing the people around me and reading their stories was something shocking to me, it made me think about many things - my life, their life, where I belong to, what this city means to them, how I see this journey from home to school, how they look at it... And how we all endure this "short" trip.
Am I trying to express anything? Yes. But I am not going to point it out for you, as always.
