EEG is a competitive gaming tournament website that had approached the design studio that I am a part of to help deliver a fresh look into their Season One event. What is displayed here is my contributions to the project. What is included here is a winners bracket, a losers bracket, and pool play announcements. Throughout this project, I had determined to follow the client brief vigorously, and to help keep the uniform, professional look by keeping the way that each design was presented in a similar format. What I had found to be easy throughout my portion of the project was creating the basic image, and idea behind what was being asked. By being exposed to the growing side of eSports, and the design side of the growing eSports community, I have been exposed to many different versions of these announcements, and those that are similar. This had provided me the basic idea of what I wanted, and allowed my mind to run and get a more detailed mental image of what I wanted to create for the client.

However, there were may difficulties. Throughout this project, I had to keep the ease of use for the client in mind. The client would receive the .PSD files so that they can edit, and put the correct information onto the files. My files can look messy, all over the place, and difficult to navigate. I had to ensure that everything was easy to use, that all the correct layers and files that needed to be edited was clearly labelled, and easy to navigate. What I did to overcome this was to use a large amount of groups - this allowed me to put certain layers into certain groups, meaning that the correct layers that needed to be edited were easy to find, and were made to look neat; meaning that there would be less confusion on how to navigate through the files.
Furthermore, a major issue that the design studio had found was working together to create a uniform looking project. This meant that we had struggled to create files that had similar looks, and helped to keep the the client brief that was sent before starting the project. What we did to overcome this was frequently posting within the design chat; this allowed all designers engaging in the designing of the project to see how things were set out, meaning that they could see how the designs should look. Furthermore, with frequent feedback from all designers, it allowed everyone to create work that was much stricter on how it looked, allowing for all work to look very similar, thus meeting the brief of keeping designs as uniform as possible.

Feedback on my portion would be greatly appreciated. Full project including all work from each designer involved will be available shortly on behance.net/radiantstudios
