This medal design is based on design related to Vad Tree (Banyan Tree). This tree represents vadodara city. As city's name is kept using Vad trees name. I had used slogan SEVEN AND SMART as it was the Theme kept by the organizers of marathon. As it is seventh international marathon I have used seven stars to indicate 7. Had also used tag line given to marathon by organizers "My City, My Marathon".
