this project was to do research on famous designers and apply them to a product. So I did research on skateboards and styles that repeat a lot in skate culture and came across grunge design graffiti and Barbara Kruger's famous red box with futura bold italicised text. so I did more research and found out David Carson worked a lot with surf graphics which translate over to skating. Also, Superblast was a graffiti artist which is huge in NYC skate culture so I started out creating some sketches then moved to the computer and layed out the designs and got critique from everyone in my class and ended up with these as the final result.
