I created and edited Slightly Bent Comics, a creator-owned, 2-issue comic book anthology series, self published in 1999. 

I designed the logo and did the cover layouts on both issues, brought to life by amazing St. Louis comic artists under the art direction of Don Secrease. Don and his team did the interior art, too, including Rick Burchett, Paul Daly, Tony Patti, Darren Goodhart, and Craig Skaggs.

It was a fun project, a deep-dive immersion into self-publishing during the black-and-white boom, and a petri dish for characters and concepts abornin’. Among the original characters and concepts represented: The original Mall Cop, Mel Cool™; Attorneys in Space™; Dude-Guy™; Danger Dad™, Dang Gnats™ and Recycled Man.™
