As a group we had to come up with range of ideas for this project. The aim of the project was to come up with an idea that will keep the elderly safe from door step criminals. This is because the main victims are mainly the elderly as they are more vulnerable. When people become older they will develop problems that will make their daily life more complicated. One main problem was that they will become forgetful and are more likely to lose their keys. 

 

I had to look at the mechanism of locks which we we incorporated into our design. Along with with other contributions such as the ergonomics of the hand which will make the overall product easier to use.
