This project was an exciting adventure into design and typefaces. "CHARON" is a type specimen book designed to acknowledge Adrian Frutiger for his brilliant font called Avenir Next. The theme of the book is based on a satellite called Charon that orbited the earth around the same time this type was created. That being said, geometric shapes and space is the inspiration behind this book. The process was long but the results paid off. The front cover was pressed in golden foil by Ryan Tempro at MC Pressure, which is my favorite aspect of the book! As a senior graduating, this final project was a great way to end the semester and I thank my teacher Diana Lodi for all the guidance and inspiration! Enjoy
