My first project using Unreal Engine 4 as an assignment for a game environment class in SCAD. The concept is based on a Hindu temple from my hometown, Bali.

 


I used Zbrush for most of my modular assets, including the Hero asset. Most of the assets were retopo-ed in Maya, some used Zremesher from Zbrush since I don't have enough time to do it manually. Textures were done using Substance Painter with most of the details came from high-poly baking. All screenshot made using Unreal Engine 4 except for the asset sheets, which were done in Marmoset Toolbag.



This is a small progress shot of my environment art in 9 weeks of time. I changed the concept of the shot towards the end to make sure that the hero asset remains the focal point of the shots.
