This was my final project I created for my Typography class. The assignment was to select a text (or two) to work with in order to design a publication. The final publication was bound by hand. The specifications were: 

• Dimensions: 7”x 9” (total spread size of 14” x 9”)

• Minimum 16 pages + covers

• Minimum one “splash” page: a typographic interpretation of content that complements the text

• Folio

• Colophon

• Saddle-stitch binding

 I chose to create a publication containing a selection of horror stories as an homage to one of my favorite authors, Edgar Allan Poe.
