P4. Alternating Figure/Ground 
Alternating the figure of a shape and the background to make your brain have a hard time figuring, what is the real background and what is the figure? And in this project, I worked in figuring out my shape to use, which ended up being the end of a hammer. I cropped the hammer to find the significant feature of it to commence the patterns of figure and ground. From there, I produced three patterns that change in scale. Later, going back into the patterns to finalize it and adding analogous colors to them.
Two tools I used and traced. The left one was the main one I used.
Image bits of the hammer. The final one was the one I ended up using for the rest of my patterns.
Patterns I made off of the image bits. 
Final Patterns I settled with in the end.
