Booth design for PAX East Boston. The front of the booth contained a photo op in the orginal Captain's chair on a bridge backdrop. Opposite the bridge was a press meeting area. The outer columns had demo stations for Star Trek Timelines and Game of Thrones Ascent mobile games.
The backdrop for the photo booth was created from promotional shots of the original Enterprise bridge. The original shot was not at the correct angle for the backdrop, and was also EXTREMELY low resolution. This required me to manipulate the image in Photoshop so it was the correct angle in relation to the Captain's chair, as well as adding filter treatments to clean up the image so that it looked good when printed on a canvas material. Additionally, I had to take into account the height of the chair as well as the average person when in front of the backdrop. Here's the before and after:
