Interactive Children's Game for Learning Piano

Marvin the Mouse was a brief project for a course on experimental games with a focus on narrative development.  For the project, I built a 25 key floor piano prototype, measuring over 5 feet in length.  Because the piano mat was built to be jumped on, it was no more than an inch thick, utilizing copper foil to run 25 individual circuits through Arduino Mega.  After nearly 400 line of the code, the piano was paired with visual game narrative that was designed to teach children basic piano skills to foster an early love for music.  Extensive market research was conducted to develop the narrative and learning outcomes.  The learning game was intended for ages 5-9 but was adaptable to all ages.
