The mask that in the front it shows a brightly colored smile of what people see on the outside but if you look in the inside it's dark toned a sad face. I chose to do this is because in my self-portrait I depicted how people used to call me mean things and I would never tell anyone that I was sad on in the inside. The simplified style references toys and childhood while also referencing emojis which are how many people share or hide their true feelings. The mask is not wearable, it hangs on the wall where people can see both sides.
