FAD is a fashion collection that represents the collision of material quality sought by brand-conscious millennial consumers and the whims of fast fashion trends. Quality and quantity should not exist separately, but must be addressed as a join concept for the future of clothing design. This three piece collection is a reflection of shapes and textures congruent with the current climate of youthful fashion. Pyjamas, ribbed layering, ruffles and rompers are prevalent in street style, depicted across fashion forecasting platforms as well as influencer blogs. The centered prints allow the consumer to customize the designs to their liking. Clothes should reflect the wearer’s personality, and I strongly believe customization is the future of fashion. Whether it’s a placement embroidery on the romper, or printing a floral painted pattern on the ribbed top, my consumer has the ability to curate their own clothes straight from the design source.
