Final Fork and Trowel Project

The Brief

We were tasked with designing an ergonomic fork and trowel set for our final first year project. The products had to be designed so that they could be injection molded.
Once I had chosen the design I wanted to do, I then had to draw an engineering sketch of the intended product.
The engineering drawings are created to show the product maker, how to make the product in the workshop
Once the engineering drawings and CAD models have been created I could then move onto 3D printing my final prototypes.
While my models were printing I then created digital renders of the prototypes in context. One showing the side profile allowing the user to view the overall shape of the product, while the second render is used to show the product in use.
After sanding the parts down to smooth them up, I then proceeded to spray painting the prototype parts their respective colours.
The final product.
