This design is inspired by the WWF posters that I have seen time and again. Dripping effect signifies how endangered animals are slowly becoming extinct, one of the reasons being poaching.

The eyes have been painted over to signify their lost identity . Without it, people will have a have a harder time figuring out what endangered animal look like, which may become a reality in the near future just like the Dodo bird and other extinct animals.
