The ‘Uncanny’ font is a decorative typeface designed to to invoke a sense of disturbance or unease when used in typography.  Designed  with  both regularities and  irregularities it supports concepts and ideas that are uncanny.

Rather than invoking a sense of horror, Uncanny should indicate that things are somewhat different than the norm, strange and disturbing, familiar and yet unfamiliar.

This project explores use of the font and highlighted by photographic images that invoke a sense of the uncanny.
