Moon Starbreeze emptied her backpack to get all she had out and discovered why the beasts continued to track her. The creature she had stepped on, which she now saw was more like a chameleon, had jumped into a side pocket.
She set up a fire mixing the camo salve and some alcohol from the first aid kit. She ripped apart her backpack to use the cloth for the signals. Suddenly the beasts were upon them once again.
She quickly picked up her new chameleon friend, whom she named Calmer, grabbed her goggles and jumped deploying the wings from her suit. A nice addition they adapted from squirrels for a quick getaway.
As she turned to glide, she saw the open jaws of a huge dinosaur looking creature that was climbing the rock wall. She twisted and turned to avoid it and saw other Penguins riding on the creature’s back wearing improvised bone weapons... was she going mad???
