Biomorphic sculpture
Create a sculpture in the direction of biomorphic abstraction. It is an approach to art that aims at organic surface flux avoiding realism and detail. This work was a real mental challenge for me. I am used to the primary forms and created something that is not a known form was a real challenge. This project took life during a learning session on T-Spline in a CAD software. Its complexity and total abstraction of this carved sculpture makes it one of my favorites, because it is precursor to my upcoming projects and allowed me to free myself from the primary forms. The sculpture is entirely made of wood with a CNC machine and a lot of sanding.
