Rotoscoping Animation
The objectives of this project were to develop an awareness of natural life like movements then to produce traditional rotoscoping animation.
Final Rotoscoping
We were required to analyze and rotoscope a 5-7 second clip of our choice. The following step was to simplify the body to basic shapes and recreate the motion using color blocking. The rotoscoping was created by drawing over the video clip in Photoshop frame by frame. For the color blocking, shape layers were animated in After Effects using key frames from the rotoscoped video.
