An Aurora is a natural light display in the sky particularly in high latitude regions, formed when charged particles from the solar wind collide with particles in the earth's atmosphere. Inspired by The Northern Lights and Vincent Van Gogh's 'The Starry Night On The Rhone', the goal of this project is to demonstrate the phenomenon of the Northern Lights as an activity of particle interference, capturing the essence of the night sky through user interaction. 

 

The task at hand was to create a drawing tool, emphasizing algorithmic generation/ modification/ manipulation that explores the balance of control between the tool and the user.
