The Space Penguins have taken over the Seagull Flagship. It was not easy. They fought for almost every room of the ship and there were several attempts at sabotaging the Antigæ.
Captain Swiftbreeze is now at the bridge, in full control of the Antigæ, assessing the damages and its capabilities. He had planned to use it to leave the planet, but it was not in good condition for intergalactic travel.
It was also running low on energy. It had no way to utilize solar energy but it did had some limited ability to create its own fuel, provided the gathering shuttles were sent out. It also had no way to land safely. It was meant for out of orbit tasks and to dock in a space station.
The Captain was not willing to start draining the planet’s resources so he put down the Antigæ at the sea. He had deployed the Orbital Distress Beacons last night after the battle, with a modified signal to try to contact other Space Penguin vessels.
He would focus on salvaging his vessel, the Spaceray, cleaning up the mess left by the battle and rescuing all his crew members who were still missing. The shuttles were sent on Search & Rescue missions and set his engineers to plan modifications on the Antigæ to adapt it for solar energy. Perhaps they could also adapt the current reactors into hydrogen only, instead of the big, dirty mess they were currently.
Hopefully they would receive more help soon...
