What is the name of your app?

Atlantic Live Subsite Redo

What was the problem you were trying to solve?

Some thought that users are busy and don’t always have time to attend think tank events. They also face the threat of fake ideas (i.e. unverified), fake scientific discoveries, and fake news online. In addition our project brief told us to come up with an Atlantic competitor subsite of TED Talks and Big Think.

How does the subsite solve for this problem?

The subsite would attempt to solve for this problem by showing and taking comments from third-party experts as well as users as a means to quality control whatever is being presented live (in person or online).

Why should we get excited about this subsite?

You should get excited about this subsite, because it will serve, God Willing, as a means to quality control the information that people are taking in and verify its validity as being either true or false.
How would you describe your app in one sentence?

Users are busy and don’t always have time to attend think tank events. They also face the threat of fake news or fake ideas, scientific discoveries and so on online, so a curated live video streaming site with verified experts validating statements made during conference interviews as real or fake was proposed as a solution.
