Based the prototype fighters on the Glaucus Atlanticus (Sea Slug). Messed up on the rings though, I'll likely correct this when I paint it digitally in the future 😋.
Two prototype fighters pick up a faint distress signal, deep in the vastness of space. It seems to have originated from a Seagull warship. They decide to head back to their Mothership to decide how to proceed. Space Penguins do not abandon anyone in trouble, even Seagulls, but this signal seems to carry Space Penguin distress codes.
Meanwhile, back on the alien planet, the survivors continue their operations. Debris cleanup, Seagull troops arrest, locating stranded groups of survivors from the SPS - Spaceray and locating Monosaur’s mom.
The "Troglodytes" decide to venture back into the depths of the forest keeping communication with the main group at the flagship using Cadette Black Beak's drones...
Digital Love
I was listening to random music when a Daft Punk song came up, then I remembered their movie, Interstella 5555 and decided to pick Digital Love since it's also about picking up a distress signal in space. If you haven't checked out Interstella 5555, you can check it out in this playlist (some videos may be blocked in some countries but you can find the full movie somewhere online, it's spread into different Daft Punk videos).
