Surplus is a narrative game about finding enough food for you and your teammates to feed your tribe to avoid starvation after a devastating storm.
The game is played on a 5x5 modular board.
It comes with five, formerly seven, decks of event cards, based on the environment players go to scavenge for food. The game suits 2-6 players.
The game itself is relatively small, consisting of 40 tile pieces, 100 event cards, a food page, and two or more pawns to used as pieces for each player.
