This project is based on how I took inspiration from the paintings of Raja Ravi Varma during the colonial period. Being a fashion design student,my focus is mostly on the garments worn by his muses, drapes,textures in the garments and paintings, the culture and significance of objects in his paintings, and most importantly the color and mood of the paintings.
