The Long Road Ahead

The Long Road Ahead
Inktober 2017
Entry #5
Autoplay at the end
The Dragonfly drones are deployed and are gathering recon data as well as locating other crew members. It's going to be a long road...
The black beaked Cadette has scanned the crash sites with her drones and her system has generated a set of maps. She has chosen a topographical display to show her fellow cadets the optimal path to each of the other Space Penguins. Her drones tapped into the helmets and suits frequencies to locate them and make a quick assessment of their status. The crash sites are marked with big yellow or red dots and a red triangle marking the direction in which they fell.

Some of the crew have also been marked in the map. In blue, the recruits who are fully mobile. In orange, the ones who are injured or stranded in some way. In green, a penguin who is dealing with some biological issue. She has even displayed the direction in which each group or single Penguin is moving. Those without suit or any form of communication will need to be located through fly-bys.

No Penguin will be left behind...
Ain't No Mountain High
...'Cause baby there ain't no mountain high enough, no valley low enough,
no river wide enough, that's keeping me from getting to you!
Trap mix 'cause these Space Penguins like music made with Technology!
