The Gray Console was designed to mix, and attractively present, both hardwood and lacquered manufactured wood. In the case of the final product this was walnut and plywood. 

 

It is uncomplicated and relatively low waste. It is intended to lean against a solid surface, and while I originally planned to have dados cut for wall-mounting brackets, the final product has two hidden supports. This allows the console to lean, but not damage the walls.
