CMU is the first-ever, exclusive higher education partner of the Tony Awards and is the oldest drama degree-granting program in the United States with hundreds of Tony nominees over the years. Together, with the Tony Awards, CMU presents the Excellence in Theatre Education Award. The Tony Awards Press Book is distributed to press representatives at the Tony Awards nomination ceremony. The piece itself was housed in a red-on-red foil stamped sleeve, with design reflecting the art-deco style of Radio City Music Hall. The content highlights CMU’s contribution to the Theatre Education Award and past alumni successes.
