EGGPLANT

Guache on Paper,   22in. by 18in.

I drew inspiration from a stack of eggplants at the farmers market.... I worked in first large translucent eggplant like shapes, overlaying them just like the eggplants in the stack. I followed by balancing and the piece with the red curvy stripes. I bake eggplant often and after I bake it, I chop it with this blunt wooden cleaver that's red.
