Wake Up Call: Animatic for Art 198 @ UC Berkeley
This was a short animatic I made as a student for the UC Berkeley Undergraduate Graphics Group Course: 2D Art for Animators (Art 198). I went through storyboarding and character design processes while learning how to bring my images to life with Photoshop and Premiere.
This was my first time deviating from just static drawings, and I enjoyed the class so much that I'm returning as a member of the facilitation team for Fall 2017. Click to watch my animatic.
During my time in this class, I learned storyboarding techniques, color theory, animation basics, character design, and environment design. I also familiarized myself with Photoshop, Illustrator, and Premiere to create this animatic. Graphics were drawn with a tablet.
