I was asked by my close personal friend and colleague Rodger Ross to develop a logo for a new radio station in his First Nation community, and the radio station belonged to the George Gordon First Nation. Their unofficial 'mascot' is a Golden Hawk, so for the radio station we shortened the term to GHawk. 

Sometime prior to this, we also developed a logo for both their local ice hockey team and amateur golf team (see below), so the same stylized hawk was adapted for their radio station as well. (At the time, their station did not have an FM station assigned, so the logo still has 99.9FM.)
