This project allowed me to reimagine the look of one of my favorite films of all time, The Dark Crystal. I designed the characters and setting around my own idea of a possible sequel to the original film, which is explained in the introduction and as well as the character pages. The costumes and overall look of the characters were meant to portray a definite connection to the film, while paying close attention to the economy of detail. 

Almost everything, with the exception of the layout of each page, was done traditionally with ink and watercolor. 

A storyboarded sequence was created to accompany this pitch, which will be posted separately.
