Hurricane Irma | Minimalistic Illustration Poster

This project that began over the weekend was based around the idea of designing a poster that serves as a reminder to the current tragedy happening in the state of Florida, in which a tropical cyclone (by the name of Hurricane Irma) is currently trekking through the mainland of the United States, after originating within the Caribbean near the Cape Verde Islands.

The final outcome of this project depicts Hurricane Irma heading towards the Miami coast by the way of a cloudy backdrop, and vector placed in a certain fashion, in order to exert the feeling that the winds are picking up to a life-threatening level.

The poster mockup for this project takes the final outcome and places it on a dark backdrop with paper clips and wires in order to hold the outcome itself up.
