HMSHost appointed Conceptional to create a new food court concept for Amsterdam Airport Schiphol, bringing the outdoor vibrancy of a street food market into the newly designed Lounge 2. HMSHost operates more than 70 F&B venues at Schiphol and by revamping Lounge 2 they are offering travellers a new culinary experience.

The aim was to break away from the standard airport food court, offering a unique experience that caters to the airports diverse traveller profiles.The space encompasses three different food concepts – The Grill, The Oven and a Market for coffee, juices and sweets – created to offer variety and next-level hospitality to travellers of all ages.

Conceptional developed the overall concept in cooperation with UXUS, customer journey, functional kitchen design, menu outlines, seating strategy, functional development intent drawings.

The concept will be open from July 2016.
