Women in India like everywhere have always been a strong component of the society, but sadly our country run by men in the Parliament have maintained a affiliation towards patriarchy. I do this photo project with a view of portraying a woman in her true essence, in her habitat, and how her voice sometimes fail to reach her mouth.
Freedom of speech and expression, granted, but, at will. Such is the hypocrisy of 'Men' in India. I am not implying that all men are the same. But sadly most of them are. There's a whole lot to this country other than Bollywood you see.
