Inspired by the techniques used by the gel-lighting god Jake Hicks, I teamed up with photographer/model extraordinaire Locutus for this colorful long exposure shoot.  One strobe with a yellow gel lit the backdrop from behind the model while another with blue lit her from the front/left side, leaving the front right side with no light.  I set my shutter speed to a 2 second exposure and after the strobes went off, I "wrote" on the model with my red laser pointer to create the red "scribbles" on her body.

In this series, my goal was to focus on the juxtaposition of these three primary colors and how they relate to one another while incorporating movement and expression through the model.  I could not be happier with these results!
