Concept
The main concept of the Dutch Water Museum in Arnhem is to spread awareness for the importance of freshwater and its ubiquity in the everyday life of the Dutch populace. The logo refers to this by combining a tulip as a symbol for the Netherlands with a water drop. This shows the deep connection of the Dutch and the water. To complement this element the blue colour used for this project is the same tone as shown on the Dutch flag. The contemporary design aims for simplicity and includes hints to the motion and flexibility of moving water.
